PAP clinic
Please be aware that our PAP Clinic is available exclusively for patients of Saginaw Medical Center. We advise female patients to have a PAP test every three years, or more frequently if you have had an abnormal result in the past, are HPV positive, or are experiencing symptoms like bleeding, pelvic discomfort, or unusual discharge.
A PAP test is crucial for detecting early signs of cervical cancer, a prevalent condition among women. When identified early, the likelihood of successful treatment is significantly improved. Additionally, PAP tests can uncover infections and abnormal cervical cells that could potentially lead to cancer, allowing for timely interventions to prevent the disease.
We encourage you to arrange an appointment with your family doctor or visit our nurse at the PAP Clinic.
To schedule your appointment, please call the appointment desk in the afternoon at 519-624-2220.
Renewal of prescription
We encourage patients to request medication renewals during your regular appointments with our doctor whenever possible. Please remember to bring all of your medications to each visit.
It is your responsibility to see our doctor before your prescription refills run out. If you run out of refills before your next appointment, our pharmacist can often provide an “emergency supply” of your regular, long-term prescriptions until you can see the doctor.
